Once upon a time, in a quiet village nestled between the hills, there lived a curious little boy named Arin . He had big eyes full of wonder and a heart full of questions. Every evening, while others played, Arin would sit by the old tree near his house and look up at the sky.
One evening, he whispered,
“God, are you real? Do you hear me?”
To his surprise, a warm breeze swirled around him, and a gentle voice said,
“Yes, Arin. I hear every whisper, even the quiet ones in your heart.”
Arin sat up straight, eyes wide. “Really? You’re God?”
“I am,” the voice replied. “But I like it when you call me Friend.”
From that day on, Arin came to the old tree every evening. He didn’t always ask big questions. Sometimes, he just talked about his day—about the bird with the broken wing he helped, or how he gave his lunch to a hungry dog.
And God always listened.
One day, Arin asked, “Why don’t others hear you like I do?”
God’s voice smiled,
“Everyone can hear me, if they listen with love, not just ears. You opened your heart—that’s why you heard me.”
Years passed. Arin grew up, but he never stopped talking to God. Even when he became an old man with a long white beard, villagers still saw him sitting by the old tree, whispering with a smile.
And they say, when the wind blows just right through those branches, you can hear two friends laughing together—one old, one eternal.
